Our bird residents span an impressive range, from highly intelligent parrots who talk, dance, and delight every visitor, to free-ranging chickens, ducks, and turkeys who roam the property on their own terms. Many of our parrots came to us after families could no longer provide the long-term care they needed, while others arrived after an owner passed away. Together they have found a permanent, enriching home here. The sanctuary's avian community is loud, colorful, and full of personality.
